2024 Kuhn Quad Rotor GA 13131

With impressive working widths, ranging from 27’11” to 48’3”, KUHN GA 13131 and GA 15131 four-rotor rotary rakes offer the ultimate capacity. The uniform windrows they create provide a base for a high-performance harvesting chain.

KUHN GA 13131 and GA 15131 quad-rotor rotary rakes not only stand for high work rates, but also combine high flexibility and superior quality of work. The uniform windrows they create provide the base for a high-performance harvesting chain. Despite their impressive size, KUHN four-rotor rotary rakes are easy to operate and adjust. All settings are made hydraulically from the tractor seat utilizing an ISOBUS monitor.

KUHN GA 13131 and GA Innovative features stemming from the hydraulic rotor drive help reduce the maintenance costs of KUHN quad rotor rakes. In addition, the boost drive of the rake’s front two rotors helps to create perfectly formed windrows. These rakes are easy to operate and adjust. A headland sequence can automate the process of turning at the end of a row with a single button press.

Features may include:

Double-Curved Tine Arms
  • Double-curved tine arms are designed to form fluffy and straight windrows for superior raking quality at high speeds. Fluffy windrows allow more air movement through the crop promoting fast and uniform drying!
3D Suspension
  • Suspended on an articulation joint and independent from the main frame, the rotors can pivot in all directions allowing close ground following over undulating terrain. The tines collect the crop with the greatest precision.
Smart Headland Management
  • For easy and efficient headland turns at the end of the field, an automated pre-programmed headland sequence can be utilized on the ISOBUS monitor. The headland sequence can be adapted to specific needs and thanks to angle sensors, the rotors will always be raised to the pre-defined height regardless of working width. Once all pre-adjustments are done, you only need to press a button, then sit back and let the electronics do the work.
Adjustable Working Width
  • The working width is adjusted from the ISOBUS monitor, making this adjustment easy for the operator. The front rotors can be moved independently from the rear rotors to choose a desired working width. Then adjust your rear rotors to create a windrow width to best match your harvesting equipment.
Raking Height Adjustment
  • The raking height is easily adjusted from the operator’s seat. This can be done simultaneously for the two front or the two rear rotors, as well as individually for each single one. The current height is indicated both on the terminal’s display and the rotor undercarriage.
Hydraulic Rotor Drive
  • The hydraulic rotor drive, with only one primary drive shaft, reduces maintenance to a minimum. You can finally forget daily lubrication of secondary drive shafts and save up to one hour compared to a mechanically driven rake of the same size. When forage has to be quickly brought in before the next rain, this can make the difference.
Stabilift™ 3D Suspension Lock
  • Both 3D suspension rotors are equipped with an integrated hydraulic cylinder, which locks the rotor movement automatically as soon as a rotor is lifted from the ground.
Headstock Suspension
  • The 2-point hitch, with integrated suspension, provides increased flexibility while driving, and greater stability between the tractor and rake during turns. This improves the performance on rough roads and provides jolt-free driving through corners, as well as in the field when the rotors are lifted only on one side.
