The NEW Norden AlfaTed fluffing tedder addresses a specific need in the hay equipment industry with an innovative design. Preparing alfalfa to bale dry has always been a challenge—getting it done quickly without damaging the crop. Reel-type tedders offer a more reliable and gentler solution compared to typical rotary tedders. However, until now, there has been a significant tradeoff: ground speed. With more bars of teeth, along with the ability to fine-tune RPMs and cam action, the AlfaTed allows operators to fluff windrows quickly while minimizing damage to the hay.
